Community Connection
Building bridges between seniors in Young and across Saskatchewan.
More Than Just a Club
Young Golden Age Club is more than a building—it's the beating heart of senior life in our community. Since our founding, we've been dedicated to creating meaningful connections between seniors, not just in Young, but across the entire region.
Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the area, whether you're looking for daily companionship or occasional social events, our doors are always open to welcome you home.
- Open 365 days a year
- Welcome members and non-members
- Connect seniors from multiple communities
- Foster lasting friendships
Coffee Row Culture
In Saskatchewan, coffee row is more than a tradition—it's a way of life. Our daily coffee gatherings are the heart of our community connection.
Open Door Policy
Coffee row is open to everyone—members and non-members alike. Whether you're a regular or visiting for the first time, you'll find a warm welcome waiting.
Multiple Sessions Daily
We open 2-3 times daily, offering morning, afternoon, and sometimes evening sessions. There's always a time that fits your schedule.
Conversation & Connection
Coffee row is where stories are shared, news is exchanged, and friendships are forged. It's the social fabric of our community.
Connecting Communities
Young Golden Age Club extends its reach beyond our village, actively building connections with senior organizations throughout the district. This regional approach ensures that seniors across Saskatchewan have opportunities to socialize and stay connected.
- Senior Winter Games: Welcoming clubs from across the district
- Inter-Club Visits: Exchanging visits with neighboring senior centers
- Joint Events: Collaborating on regional activities
- Card Tournaments: Friendly competition with other clubs
These connections help combat isolation and ensure that even seniors in rural areas have access to vibrant social communities.
